B.B.B. (Brains, Beauty & B????)

I'm looking for the triple threat
Brains, Beauty & Booty
I need a sister whose mind
is always on duty

I'm talkin' about a woman so hot
she makes me sweat
And when she walks by it's like
dinner's ready and the table's been set

I'm talkin' about the B.B.B.
That's what's good for me
She can't be too wild or too tame
Just enough fire to ignite my flame

Is that too much to ask for?
"God why can't finding a woman
be as easy as going to the store?"

"Son, it's not always about what you want
It's about what you need"

"Lord, I'll just have to trust you have
the right one up your sleeve"

I must say this poem made me chuckle just a little. It reminded me of our last email exchange. I will say this, you are very talented... continue to seek the will of God, she's out there.

I just stumbled onto your blog, and I must say that I am duly impressed. I too am Christian brother who is at an impasse. I live in Atlanta, the epicenter of this "megachurch" madness.

I have a lot more ideas that I would like to share with you in the coming days an weeks.

Keep up the good work.

P.S. God has a woman out there for you, and she will come in "his" time. I struggled with lonliness for 3 years after my first marriage. It was very difficult to find someone who would accomodate me and my young son.

But God did send someone. We have been married for 5 years. It is truly wonderful to have a good, understanding, Christian woman.

Ri,

Thanks for posting your thoughts. And as always I appreciate your encouraging words.

Grip,

Brother I will be praying for you as you try to navigate through the mixed blessing of living in the capital of black megachurches and black sexual experimentation (but that's another story).

Your testimony of finding love again after losing it gives me hope and I look forward to hearing your ideas on church, relationships and life.

Bro, it took me a while, and I ended up with Yolanda Adams' twin (well, at least her look alike). Not bad, except I'm 5'7" to her 6'. Still, it's been 9 years and one son later now. so if it can happen to me, a short dark bro, it can happen to you too.

God bless!!!

P.S.

maybe Anonymous has a name ;-)
